The dreaded time has come. Time to go back to school. The only thing is it takes a while to adjust to all the things that come with school. Waking up early is one of the biggest things teens have to get used to. And for me, it's tied for first most annoying along with homework. For one thing, they are both not avoidable, but you can make these things less annoying with a few tips.
1. Before you go to bed in the night, lay out or at least plan what you are going to wear and pack your bags so that you can have a few extra minutes in the morning.
2. Eat breakfast. Even if you are pressed for time in the mornings, you still should eat something. Studies show that teens are much more attentive when they've had something to eat in the morning.
3. Don't fuss too much with your hair and makeup. There isn't enough time in the morning for you to make yourself look perfect. Keep it simple and clean and maybe you'll be able to squeeze in a couple more shut-eye minutes.
4. Get to bed earlier. This one is kind of obvious. Going to bed earlier equals more rest for you. And it will be so much easier to wake up in the morning if you are well-rested.
5. When doing homework, start with the things that are due the next day, and then the things that are due later.
6. Take study breaks. It's hard to concentrate when you're bored so be sure to take breaks now and then,
7. Drink lots of water. This will keep you refreshed AND help your complexion.
Hopefully you'll survive until summer by following some of these tips!

Spring Break Blues?
School breaks are awesome for everyone. It's a time where students can actually get some sleep, where teachers don't have to assign mountains of homework, and where parents don't have to nag about grades and wake up every morning to make sure their kids actually make it to school. But sometimes breaks can be really boring and lifeless. breaks are sometimes times to think about like and about some things that you really don't want to think about. Let's face it. If you don't have plans for anything during the break, it usually turns out that you are going to have time to freak out about stuff. And that really does suck because not everything that comes to mind is pleasant and sometimes this can lead to realizing things that have been overlooked during all the fuss school causes. And if you're like me and when you have too much time to think things just start to feel lonely, there's a definite quick fix to that. Go out. Meet new people. Maybe snag the perfect guy. Go shopping with your girls or catch a movie with someone special. Whatever you do, if you're having fun, the days will go by without a hitch and sooner or later you will be back to your busy life and school in no time.

Getting Over "HIm"
This might go without saying but, the hardest thing about relationships is saying good-bye. Whether you're the dumper or the dumpee, it sucks to know that you're not going to have this person in your life as much as you have. And from my experience, I know that it' always best to talk about it. It's just like a brick has been lifted off your back when you realize that you don't necessarily need this person in your life and that you can move on with your life not worrying about this person constantly. And so what? If it doesn't work out, then you'e not meant to be. It's not healthy to dwell on the past so once you've had enough time to mope around and feel grief, it's time to just go out there and live life the way it was meant to be lived. GO out and try something new. Meet new people and have fun. Just live and forget about everything that blocks your path in life.
